Lab Fire and Explosion Accidents

Preventing fires and explosions in laboratories is not very common, however these tragic events still occur and injure staff and students.  These accidents are the result of poor practices, lack of training, lack of chemical understanding and the mishandling of chemicals or equipment in the laboratory.
